GDL-51 has a unique nickel sponge and carbon composite structure as the gas diffusion layer, which can be used to make different gas diffusion electrodes. The wet-proof property is further enhanced by an additional layer of Teflon on the back of the GDL. Compared with carbon paper-based GDL, this GDL allows very high electric conductivity and roll-to-roll coat ability, making it ideal for both research and product development.
Applications:
- Making hydrogen evolution electrode for AEM electrolyzers;
- Making oxygen reduction electrode for alkaline fuel cells and metal air batteries;
- Making gas diffusion electrode for CO2 reduction reaction
- Making gas diffusion electrode for other electrochemical gas diffusion reactions
