AvCarb Material Solution’s Gas Diffusion System GDS3215 EP40 combines AvCarb's proprietary carbon fiber paper, a PTFE treatment, and micro-porous layer coating, designed for the rigorous demands of specific fuel cell applications such as Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cells (PEMFC), Direct Methanol Fuel Cells (DMFC), and Phosphoric Acid Fuel Cells (PAFC).
AvCarb EP40 is the base material used in GDS3215.
Due to the low demand of this GDL product, the manufacturer has no long term plans for manufacturing it. We recommend AvCarb MB30 as an alternative product.
