The cell voltage monitor 48 measures the voltages of up to 48 series-connected galvanic elements in the range of 0 to 4.5V DC. The measured data is transmitted via CAN or RS232 interface. The device has an external power supply and one 50-pin D-Sub connectors for connecting the cell voltages. The cell voltage monitor 48 detects faults and poor operating conditions at an early stage, avoiding additional downtime and maintenance. The cell voltage monitor 48 has an integrated limit voltage monitoring, which can be used for the safety chain of the system control.
