CT GDL280 is a carbon paper with a Microporous Layer (MPL) and with PTFE. It has a total thickness of 280 um (microns). CT is a great low-cost alternative to conventional carbon paper Gas Diffusion Layer (GDL) materials.

CT GDL280 is available in 20 x 20 cm or 40 x 40 cm sheets at this time.

Advantages of CT Carbon Paper:
  • Heat transfer during cell operation
  • Automated QC inspection system
  • Keep some water on the surface for conductivity
  • Avoid “flooding”

CT GDL280 has a current lead time of about 3 - 4 weeks to ship.

How to Select a GDL:
The following table provides a guideline for selection of GDLs as a function of the application itself.
