Disassemble and reassemble your own fuel cell stack of individually connected cells with the Flex-Stak Hydrogen Air PEM Fuel Cell. The Flex-Stak comes in a 1-cell, 5-cell, 10-cell, 15-cell, and 20-cell stack configuration depending on your hydrogen power requirements. The ease of use makes it simple to scale the Flex-Stak to different power levels and integrate equipment such as sensors. The Flex-Stak fuel cell is an excellent learning tool that gives hands-on experience with promising fuel cell technology. Whether it’s advanced research on MEAs, creating your own fuel cell lab or conducting professional training the Flex-Stak has a load of practical applications.
The Flex-Stak is a fully assembled, tested, and ready for use PEM Fuel Cell! Only a flathead screwdriver (1/4 inch) and torque wrench (1 in/lb, 3/8 inch nut) are necessary to assemble the Flex-Stak so you can concentrate on creating your very own hydrogen powered applications.
The Flex-Stak is a dismantable open-air cathode fuel cell that allows for users to input their own custom PEM MEAs for testing!

** The Flex-Stak nominal operating voltage per cell is typically around 0.6 V, but could vary between 0.4 and 0.9V per cell depending on how hard you are running the cell (i.e. pulling more current will result in a lower cell voltage, less current will have a higher cell voltage).
