NanoScientifica’s platinum nanoparticles with cubic morphology have an average edge size of ~7 nm and a narrow size distribution. The nanoparticles are supported on high–surface-area Ketjenblack EC-300J with a platinum loading of 60 wt%.

Structural features

Catalytic properties of nanoparticles are influenced by particle shape and surface orientation. Cubic nanoparticles predominantly expose {100} facets. Supported on Ketjenblack EC-300J, the particles exhibit good dispersion and electrical conductivity.
