Spectracarb™ 2050A-0550 Gas Diffusion Layer (GDL) is a heavy duty porous “graphitized” resin bonded carbon fiber paper with low compressibility and with general utility for a range of PEM fuel cell applications, including both commercial and military applications. This GDL has similar properties to that of Toray Carbon Paper 060.

Spectracarb 2050 Gas Diffusion Layer (GDL) sheets are specifically designed for use in PEM, DMFC and PAFC fuel cells, Electrolyzers, Humidifiers and other Electrochemical Devices and optimized for: 

  • Electrical Conductivity
  • Mechanical Strength and Durability
  • Gas/Air Permeability
  • Water Management

 

Spectracarb GDLs are produced in the USA and are available in a wide range of standard and custom grades, densities, sizes and materials for fuel cells, electrolyzers, humidifiers, specialty batteries and other electrochemical applications.
