Spectracarb™ 2050A-1550 Gas Diffusion Layer (GDL) is a heavy duty porous graphitized carbon sheet with low compressibility and with general utility for a range of PEM fuel cell applications, including both commercial and military applications. This GDL has very similar properties to that of Toray Carbon Paper 120.
Spectracarb™ 2050A-1550 has a higher density than Spectracarb™ 2050A-1535 (0.50 g/cm³ vs 0.35 g/cm³)
Spectracarb 2050 Gas Diffusion Layer (GDL) sheets are specifically designed for use in PEM, DMFC and PAFC fuel cells, Electrolyzers, Humidifiers and other Electrochemical Devices and optimized for:
- Electrical Conductivity
- Mechanical Strength and Durability
- Gas/Air Permeability
- Water Management
Spectracarb GDLs are produced in the USA and are available in a wide range of standard and custom grades, densities, sizes and materials for fuel cells, electrolyzers, humidifiers, specialty batteries and other electrochemical applications.
