Set of two Aluminum, alloy 6061 plates ideal for hot pressing Membrane Electrode Assemblies (MEA). These plates are 1/4" thick.
The most widely used aluminum, Alloy 6061 has better corrosion resistance and weldability than Alloys 2024 and 7075. It is non-magnetic, heat treatable, and resists stress cracking.
Temperature range is -320° to 300° F. T651 (solution heat treated and artificially aged plus stress relieved by stretching with no subsequent straightening)
Width and Length Tolerances ±1/16". Meet ASTM B209
