• 4 mg/cm² Platinum Black - Carbon Cloth Electrode (W1S1011)

This 4.0 mg/cm² Platinum on Carbon Cloth electrode is a high performance, high platinum loading Gas Diffusion Electrode (GDE), typically used in applications where performance and efficiency are critical.  This GDE is suitable for use in Hydrogen / Air Fuel Cells, Hydrogen/ Oxygen Fuel Cells, Direct Methanol Fuel Cells (DMFC), Microbial Fuel Cells (MFC), or other electrochemical systems requiring high Platinum loadings. The Gas Diffusion Layer (GDL) used is a standard carbon cloth with MPL which is 410 microns thick. Other GDL materials are also available by custom request, as are custom sizes and loadings.

Includes a Nafion Post Coat for improved water management and adhesion to the membrane.

This product can be considered as a good replacement for the GDEs that were using W1S1009 and W1S1010 as the substrate of the same catalyst loading.

We usually carry this product as a stock item and it has short lead times (<1 week).  Depending on the demand, the lead time may extend to 3-4 weeks.
